How Can I Call for the Help of Angels?

How Can I Call for the Help of Angels?

How Can I Call for the Help of Angels?

by Pastor Danny and Donna Burns

Answer:

Utilizing the ministry of angels is part of our salvation. God provided angels to assist us on the earth, to bless us with everyday tasks and those times requiring supernatural help. Here is how you can receive the help of angels:

  1. Speak the Word.
Angels are waiting to respond to your requests.  When you find yourself in a situation—one of possible physical danger, one where you need deliverance, or one where you require material or financial help—speak the Word only. This allows your angels to minister on your behalf—to work for you, to intervene. When you speak against the Word of God, their hands are tied—they can’t move an inch to help you.
  1. Pray for angels.
When you ask God the Father to send you His angels, He will. God would have sent 12 legions of angels to Jesus’ rescue had He asked for them (Read Matthew 26:51-53). Prayer will release angels on your behalf. Every time you leave your house, ask that angels protect you in every vehicle you ride in. In every situation, talk to your angels for protection and to find your way.

  2. Call on the Name of Jesus.
The Name of Jesus catches the attention of God’s angels. They will respond to the Name above all names and come to your rescue (Read Hebrews 1:6).

When we believe that God will send His angels to help (Read Psalm 91:11), we are receiving their intervention by faith.

Thank and praise God for He has given His angels charge over you.

Blessings in Christ,

What Is Faith, Really?

What Is Faith, Really?

What Is Faith, Really?

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised
(Romans 4:20-21, NIV)

The prophet Abraham wasn’t just facing situations that were hard—they were impossible. God had told Abraham that he would be the “Father of many nations,” but there he was, childless, and both he and his wife were well past their childbearing years. Abraham wasn’t swayed by his circumstances. Sure, he saw them, but he was fully persuaded that God had the power to do what He said He would do despite what it looked like.

That is faith.

Faith is also known as agreeing with what heaven says. Faith is also being fully persuaded that what God says is true.

That’s why the Bible refers to faith as a shield that extinguishes the devil’s flaming arrows (Ephesians 6:16).  When the enemy tries to get you off course by telling you lies, it is our faith that persuades us to reject those lies. Faith allows us to go forward, confidently, following the promises of God read in His Word.

When you’re confident, there’s no fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. You can’t be in fear and in faith at the same time. It’s one or the other.

We study faith when reading in Hebrews 11:1 (King James Version):

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The same verse of Hebrews 11:1 in the Amplified version reads:

“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].

Now that is confirmation that the promises of God said in God’s Word has substance, a Title Deed!  Believers, I tell you, this can be taken to the bank of the heavenly economy!

Bible Studies and Christian Decorations Banned in Senior Living Centers

Bible Studies and Christian Decorations Banned in Senior Living Centers

NATIONAL ISSUE OF GREAT CONCERN

We’re hearing from a growing number of cases of senior center members being harassed or even banned from holding Bible studies at their senior living centers. We understand that this phenomenon is an epidemic that is spreading nationwide, and we’re concerned over this issue and putting it to prayer. A growing number of senior centers are claiming that federal law prohibits them from allowing Bible studies. According to Jay Sekulow’s ACLJ, federal law and the Constitution PROTECT Bible studies and religious decorations. Banning them is simply unlawful.

Pastor Danny Burns is praying on establishing a Bible School in Pittsburg, Texas. As many of you know, Christians have the right to hold regular Bible studies in centers, but they no longer have chaplains in those centers to facilitate the needs of Christians in those homes or centers.

Pastor Danny and his wife, Donna, support ACLJ to defend seniors’ right to pray, to display Christian decorations, and hold Bible studies in senior community centers just like any other activity that is allowed. God has led Pastor Danny to prepare volunteers in his Bible school to visit, pray, and provide Bible Study in local senior centers.

Ask the Lord

Ask the Lord

Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, for I delight in it.

Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness.

Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way.

Establish Your word to Your servant, who is devoted to fearing You.

Turn away my reproach which I dread, for Your judgments are good.

Behold, I long for Your precepts; revive me in Your righteousness.

Psalm 119:33-40

When we read Psalm 119:33-40, we see the author was inspired by the Holy Spirit to ask the Lord for 8 things:

1. Teach him

2. Give him understanding

3. Make him walk in the path of God’s commandments

4. Incline his heart to God’s testimonies

5. Turn away his eyes from worthless things

6. Establish God’s Word to him

7. Turn away his reproach

8. Revive him in God’s way and God’s righteousness

We can safely assume that those requests were all in line with God’s will, therefore, the Lord was eager to help him. We don’t have to journey in this life without God’s help. As followers of Christ, He is always with us. When we seek Him, we find that we don’t have to “do life” in our own strength or “willpower.” We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Let’s ask God for those 8 things and experience a mighty move of God in our lives as we grow in our FAITH IN HIM!

We are here for you at Danny Burns Ministries, to help you grow in your faith and fulfil your God-given purpose as you walk with God.
